CVA bolt removal

Have a c v a Hunter bolt. Question how do I remove the bolt? Pulling the trigger and sliding bolt back does not let it come out.

If I remember correctly - pull the trigger - pull the bolt back to the stop - then lift the end of the bolt handle upward to rotate the bolt - then pull it out...
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - they are a blast....

Thanks for the tip, tried that and did not work as the bolt would not lift up but I did find that if you pull the bolt back to the stop and push down, out it came and you do not need to pull the trigger. so with your tip and playing around with it out it came so a great big thanks to you. This is a great fourm as someone always has the answer.
Thanks again

Sorry bout that I just kinda remember - I needed to rotate the bolt a little bit to get it out.  It has been a long time since I had my Mag Bolt.

Any Idea what they sold for new and when were they made, I do not find them listed in any of my books.
It does have the fiber optic sights.

Check the serial number, the last two digits are the year of manufacture. If I remember right they sold in the $150 to $175 range new.

very simple rifle to remove the bolt on. Had an X-150 that used the same bolt design.

I have a hunterbolt. Open the bolt. In its open position, rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise and slide it back. That simple. Mine's a tack driver using 250gr. bonded shockwaves w/100gr t7 pellets. My last trip to the range, she threw a 1 1/2 inch group at 200yrds and 2 rounds passed through the same hole making it oval! That was probably the best group I ever shot. Usualy keeps them in the 4 inch ring at that range. Still impressed by her from time to time. Mine was worth about 350$ Canadian at the time I bought it. It was new. What I paid means nothing to you guy's though, today, a stainless wolf costs around 250 Canadian and I bet it's much cheaper south of the border.
