As a career military man i swore to protect and defend the Constitution. I will still protect that document in its entirety. I may lose but I will fight. If enought americans follow the words of Jefferson we'll be o.k. People like swampman would still be british subjects

I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

I'm afraid most of today's patriots are getting old and are becoming outnumbered by the second generation of 'Dumbed down" & feminized americans "educated" in out public schools that our constitution is a living & breathing document that no longer is relevant.  All we need is a constitutional convention to end up with pure socialism.

Our Patriots are still in Iraq and Afganistan.  Our Patriots are returning soldiers wracked by PTSD.  Our Patriots are tired old Vietnam Veterans on the outskirts of Society.  Our Patriots are missing from a generation or two.

this voter fraud in Nevada cinches it , 1800 illegal votes, and out of that only 6 were legal.
And that was just in Nevada ,what is going to happen in the election ??
You only find the story on Fox news ,and it is Obamas bunch ,Acorn who did it ,and he just appropriated 2 Million to them out of this last bail out.
Americans know this yet they sit there and do nothing ,Obama should be under arrest.

According to B/O all true patriots should favor "Spreadig their wealth".  Patriotism is being redefined by liberals as "From those according to their ability to those according to their need."  Hummm; Where have we heard this before?  To be a patriot is to be a socialist according to B/O.

I betcha Sir Winston wasn't speaking about the British Commoner fighting for their freedom against their Govt being he was a big part of it himself. When the Commies were talking about fighting for the Motherland it wasn't meant against the party.

Totally off topic and has NOTHING to do with this discussion but I just gotta ask anyway.

Why is it that you can write a post like this one with good spelling and making total sense that looks as if written by a well educated and intelligent person one time and most times prefer to write in a manner that makes you look like a totally uneducated dolt? I for one will say I will shed my blood and offer up my freedom or life to protect the constitution.  That said I will have even less of a problem with shedding the blood of those who want to destroy our constitution and take away our freedoms. In fact I would prefer it that way.

There is actually a story behind that, there always is isn't there?  :o

Initially I always spelled it with an A Graybeard and never really gave the E spelling Greybeard that most seem to use in referring to me a thought. Then some guy comes along and registers with that name.

Now I figure I really can't have TWO different Graybeards on a site with that name as it might confuse folks as to who was really in charge so I told him to come up with a new name as I was not gonna allow him to use the same name as me even tho spelled one letter differently. So to prevent it happpening again I just took that name also.

The only time I use it is when I have but a few minutes to be online and prefer to not be seen so that user name is hidden from view when online. That prevents folks from trying to engage me in a PM swap. I try to avoid making posts using it but some times it has to be done.

I've done it. I kept my avitar but changed the name. As far as I know there is only one 45-70 Govt here now.
