hi all, i came into possesion of a simmons blazer 4-16x40. has anyone used one. i was thinking of putting it on a 243 handi. any info would help. thanks

I would think you should be just fine.my boy got one in 3x9 last year and it's been on a 243 now on a 30-30
and works fine

it seems Bushnell bought Simmons. I am wondering whether they will continue using Simmons brand, or just absorb them under Bushnell brand.

Why not? Bushnell bought Tasco several years ago, they're still in production.
