First it will be a .50 cal Lyman Deerstalker and round balls, for it's 12th season. Then I will bring out my sportered Turkish mauser, for its second year.

For gun season I am thinking the Encore rifle 7M-08.  Later on it will be the Encore in its muzzleloader function.  Oh yeh!

For Me,it depends onhealth and fitness.
If I'm up to snuff,I'll be using my little Winchester '94;30/30 carbine.
If I feel that I need all the help that I can get,it will be my Springfield Krag;30/40.

Old model Ruger M-77 Ultra Light in .250 Savage, old model Ruger M-77R in .280 Rem., and Win 70 Classic Stainless in .308 Win., depending on mood, weather, and terrain.  During muzzleloader season it will be a T/C Omega .50 in Missouri and a T/C Renegade .54 in Alabama.  And I might even dig out the Ruger #1S in .45-70.  :-)    My son will be using his beautiful FN Mauser sporter in .270 Win.

Well, I'll start with the squirrles in another week and other small game later with my 20 gauge Remington Wingmaster.  Probably some early season waterfowling with my Mossberg pump 12ga.  Coyotes with a Rem. 700 .243BDL, and Deer with my Buckmaster bow, .270Win. 15" Encore, and Lyman 54 cal Deerstalker...then later again with my bow haha.  Gotta love large deer populations.  Regards,

CT will be 11-87 scoped with Remington 12 ga Core-Lokt.
Maine will use Remington mod 700 in 7mm-08 some days.... and either a Ruger SBH .44 Mag or a Dan Wesson .45 Colt on other days.  Why, because I'm wishy-washy and I can't make up my mind.

Good hunting to all and have a safe hunt.

I hunt three different states with three different sets of rules on what kind of guns can be used.  This is what I have planned at the present?

PSE bow during bow season or I may use my old recurve Ben Pearson fiber glass.
Ruger #1, 300 mag. for general gun season.
Remington Sendero, .270 for the Bean Fields.
Encore 20 ga for slug gun only state.
Savage 10ML, 50 cal. during Muzzle only season.
Ruger .44 Super Blackhawk Hunter goes in my pack for states that allow two guns to be carried at the same time.
Contender .357 Max, 14 inch barrel for hand gun only hunting trip.

This year I'm leaving the 7 mag and the 25-06 home and I'm taking nothing but the contender pistol in either 7x30 or 30-30. I didn't draw a buck tag, and figured I'll make it a more challenging hunt since we usually end up with no less than 100 yd shots.
