I need a picitinny rail for my H&R
« on: September 26, 2008, 01:26:48 PM »
I got my Acog scope in for my H&R 308  survivor project. I now need to find a picitinny rail for it.

I could mill slots in my factory rail but I would rather have a factory rail. Anyone where I can find one?

Well, this forum isn't the place to ask to buy one from another member, that would be the NEF/H&R Classifieds. But if you want a new one, Able Ammo has em in stock and SWFA lists it also.

I am not exactly sure how your scope fits, but I have used off set rings to move a scope forward or backward, when regular ones will not get the job done. I have used them on just one end and on both. You can turn one front and the other back, both in, one back and one forward. There is quite a bit of things you can do with them to adjust a scope front to back to meet your needs. Just a thought.
