Range Trip
« on: September 27, 2008, 08:56:16 AM »
I took 2 Handis to the range to get them on paper.  I didn't have much time so I just shot at 25 yards.  Here are some pics.

Shooting the .357

5 shots (Remington 405 grain factory load)from the .45-70(that's all I had)

Target on the left is probably 20 shots with the .357 with some called flyers.  The ammo was some really crappy realods I got in a trade.  A double ended wadcutter + Bullseye thrown with a lee dipper in .mixed .38 special cases..

The .45-70 cooling off

The .357

Both guns showed great promise.  The scopes left something to be desired IMO.

It is the one I just got from Bud's Gun Shop.  I put the green laminated stock on it.

I suspect it's a shooter. I have an Ultra 308 Cinn Lam coming from Buds. Where did you get the green Lam stock from? -g

Where did you get the green Lam stock from? -g

The camo straight grip stock can be ordered from H&R in smooth or checkered, the smooth is listed on the Retail Parts Price list in the FAQs, but you can ask for the checkered version to, whether they'll have it in stock may be another issue tho.  ;)
