Scope Mount rossi matched pair

Looking to mount a scope on the 22 barrel of the set.  Anyone with experience have advice?

Uses Weaver 82, I believe.  Same as Contender which is where it is now.  I was disappointed with the Rossi and a bad decision on my part.  For kids its hard to cock,  410 has too much kick.  Buy a Savage Cub or CZ Scout.

The TC base has the proper hole spacing but the raidus where it fits the barrel is wrong for a Rossi.  Larry

Sorry to drag out an old thread, but I just went through this ordering a scope base for a .22/20ga youth-sized combo.

Ordered through MidwayUSA and used their search to find the item #. The listing that came up did NOT mention that the Weaver base only fit the barrel for the .22/410 combo. I saw this on the package after I received my order.

Sure enough, the base does not fit the radius of the breech.

Has anyone ordered and installed the Rossi base linked in the previous post? Does it fit the large diameter .22 barrel of the .22/20ga combo? The Rossi site just says it "fits Rossi long gun barrels."


I'm a Rossi newb and wasn't aware that there was more than one breech diameter. Being youth-sized it's a little short as-is, but I wanted something really compact and a good recoil pad will extent the butt a little.

I believe it is also listed above, get a hammer extension as well while your paying shipping, no reason not too in my opinion.

I will get a 12/30.06 set very soon, Rossi #4 for me, love em and yet to get a bum deal.

Yes, that's the one I was asking about. So you're saying it does fit the large diameter breech of the .22 LR barrel for the .22/20ga pair?

Out of curiousity, are ther any other Rossi rifle barrels that use the small breech diameter of the .22/410 pair?

Sorry, Terry I did not read IN DEPTH, so my answer is to click on Contact in the site listed above and dial the number for "contact the hot chic " on the picture.  Then ask them what mount fits your rifle.

I'd have a CC handy as once htey tell you I would go "yep please send one"...if its wrong I am confident they will work with you.

I will also be interested in this as I will place a scope on mine as well.....when I get it.

I have the same pair and the 92A mount fit mine fine and shoots good. But the 410 does have a bite to it. Paul
