Buckhorn 209

Very pleased with Blackhorn 209, shot 20 rounds without cleaning and had no problem loading sabots or the new Hornady bullet, though it shot over a foot to the right of my 250 Shockwaves.............

How much powder were you using behind these bullets?  Just curious if you experimented with different charges, ie... 80, 100, & 120 grains.

Also what brand of 209 primer are you using?

The folks at Western Powder told me Blackhorn 209 burned the cleanest with CCI's.  Not sure how much of difference the brand of primers makes when it comes to this particular powder but I plan to find out just because I like to tinker.

Thanks,

120 grains Blackhorn, Rem 209 Primers, 250 Shockwaves, 3/4" 2 shot group with my Encore. Don't know why the Omega shot  like a shotgun with everything I tried..............
