Dand,

That looks like an Ithica Super Single....  That's what I shot when I was about his age 30 years ago!!  Great gun but kicked like a mule....  Downed a lot of game with it from squirrels to deer...

Great job to all the youths pictured here!

I still have mine from around 35 years ago as well. Seemed like it would reach a mile, but you paid for every shot. I'd go in with my shoulder black and blue and then go back the next day and try it again.  ;D

My dad bought the one I used at an auction for $15.  He bought it for my older brother and then it was passed down to me but now my older brother has it again.  I remember shooting 100+ rounds with it shooting trap with my buddies as a teenager.  What a great gun, but yep she kicked.....

The way that girl is doing this year, you will need a new freezer with her name on it. Great job to you both! ;)

My boy did well tonight.  This is his first buck, and he got it with his bow. Actually it is his first deer with a bow.  I would have been pretty excited to get one like this with a bow at 14 years old.  He did a good job, the deer expired in 50 yards.

He and his buddy were in the stand together and this guy came in right a last light.  He made the shot, ran back to the house and told me and then went directly on the trail because it was raining.  By the time I got there they we already in the process of gutting it.
