Mag release?
« on: October 01, 2008, 03:50:55 AM »
What do I have to do to get my mag to smoothly drop out of the gun when I push the button?  I don't like reaching up and grabbing it, I want it to fall out while I grab the next one.  Thanks

The problem is the type of polymer they make the stocks out of.  The pistol grip is somwhat flimsy and it flexes when you hit the mag release.  I put an ATI stock on mine and when you hit the mag release the mag would hit the ground every time...
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

I've had my C9 for close to a year now.  It's had about 600+ rounds fired through it.  When I push the mag release the mag falls out about halfway.  Will it get any better than that over a period of time?  I don't know.  I don't see it as a major issue.  It's not like I have to wrestle with the pistol to get the mag to release.   ;)

Mornin  wisconsinteacher,
I know this is an old post but I'm learnin this board and thought I would start here (lucky you, huh?), did ya get the Mag release problem fixed? If not then check the top of your mag. The ears are out to far. That's what's holdin it in and not lettin it drop out.
