the 760 scores a hit
« on: October 01, 2008, 08:20:04 AM »
this morning i was eatting breakfast and my pet rat was running around like always(the rabbit does not like the mornings) and i saw sally was outside on the porch watching the birds. I got up fast cause a lot of birds attack or kill rats. I put my hand out and she run up and i saw some pingins up in a tree at about 20-30 yards(i have not idea how far but i think it was 21 yards?). anyways i got my 760 and loaded a daisy pointed and kill one with one body shot. I guess the 760 can do the job on them.

good kill....pigeons can be hard to kill...................story....before i got my rws my first pellet gun was a 766?....then the seals went bad........my dad had a drugstore.....iit then got a pigeon problem....since my first pellet gun was gone i went to k mart and bought another, cant remember the model but it was a crosman pump also.....i shot the first pigeon on my dads building and it flew like nothing happened....i watched it then land about 100 yards to the east on top of a slanted aluminum roof(wetsern electric..at&t..) and it wobbled over, fell dead , slid down the roof and then plop onto the sidewallk below where several people were walking!!!!!!!......... 1  of the others i  shot on the other side of the building......it flew off like nothing happened.....flew west over a clinic on the other side of my dads store,...as it was flying over the clinic parking lot it fell dead out of the sky onto the parking lot!!!!!....would of been funny but no one was walking through the parking lot........i did kill 4 others on his building to get rid of the 3 pairs that were using his building....mack

I heard from a old guy he said when he was a kid. They were playing down by the railroad tracks they ate pigeons with the bums. They dug a pit wrap the birds in foil put hot coals over them Said it was good.
