How is the Model 750.
« on: October 01, 2008, 12:52:45 PM »
I often thought about getting a Model 750 in a .308 Caliber but when they first came out all I could see on the forums was complaints, jamming, magazines.  Has the quality improved to a point where a guy could get one and not have to keep putting into the shop?   I would love to have a 18.5" barrel as a really good woods rifle.  I have a Model 7600, 35whelen and 30-06 and no complaints about either one.  My son just took a black bear with the -06 so it is bloodied.
I have some awfully good rifles I can hunt with so I don't want one that jams or whatever.
