two two Hornet for hogs

Just doing an up date of the last few months,  all these hogs fell to the Hornet.
Shooting 45 g Rem Hollow points. All went straight down 50-80 yd shots.







Heres my son, made a neck shot on this one.














Another one with the hornet.











This one also fell to the Hornet.










Took this Javelina with my bow.

Nice hogs.  Way to show how effective those small calibers can be with good placement.

Ive killed 8 or 9 deer with this Hornet since I got it 3 or 4 years ago. One 11 point buck went a 195+ lbs. All the deer were hit in the neck, they never took another step.  I use this gun for areas that are 100 yd shots or under.  When I hunt areas that require longer shooting I use my .243.
 I have used the .243 for over 25 years, but I thought I could use a smaller caliber since most of my hunting is under a 100 yds, that and I mainly neck shoot them anyways. I also hunt some suburban areas at times. I like the little Hornet for this type hunting.
