Fallen Soldier

Sgt. Jamie Nickolas From Wallback WV was killed in a road side bomb attack along with 3 other in Afganinstan last Monday.Memorial service tonight at the Clay County Courthouse.The family has two more sons in the military.All three boys are Sp.Forces pray for the Family.
 also I have two sons to be deployed in Dec.both Cav Scouts in the same unit.
Going to be tough for Wife and I.Both going to Iraq.Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Sincere Thoughts and Prayers go with you and yours Preacherman for safe passage and swift return.

Mine has returned from his third tour in "other" than original condition.  PTSD.

I have been pondering his generation's ability to take to their graves the atrocities of these wars.  I don't know where they have been, what they have seen, what they have done, nor more importantly how to combat its encroachment into the lives of our returning soldiers and their families.

It is said that time heals all wounds.  "Saving Private Benjamin" only touches, at its end, on the reality, the emotion, the change in life that can occur.

It amazes me that this country still produces young people who are willing to do the right thing when our country is attacked. These kids sign up knowing where they are going! They are all volunteers. The young persons mentioned in the previous posts are heroes in my eyes, anyone who volunteers to go in harms way is a hero when he takes the oath. God bless them all.
