« on: October 07, 2008, 04:52:00 AM »
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
in the past week or so my friends are leaving me.

as I mentioned a week ago.my friend Mr. Hatcher had his kidneys shut down.they put the shunts in to do the dialysis.they did it 4 or 5 times and he was doing better.then as he got up to leave from the treatment, he had a massive heart attack.had to have a triple bypass.he was doing better again, then he went down hill again.lost 30 lbs. and couldn't eat.
They were giving him kumiden(sp) blood thinner.well it was to much and his blood was just water.now he's back in the hospital,in bad shape again.please keep him in your thoughts.in his mid 70's

last Wed. another friend Mack McCain was working on a bucket truck and fell off landing on his back and side of the head.
fractured his skull.they had to do a drill to relieve the pressure.before they got him to surgery he passed out.they did the surgery.Thursday about 9:30 am they removed him from all
the machines, at 11:00 he passed.69 years old.
please keep his family in your thoughts also.

on Sat. morning a girl that works with me went in to wake her husband Roger McElroy so she could come to work.he didn't wake,he had died in his sleep.he was only early 50's.

also just got word another guy I know real well passed Sunday night.he had been really sick (Cancer) for several Mo's. he was in his 80's.

another friend, Roy Allen also passed away last Friday.he had been away for several years and had just move back to this area.mid 50's also.

it is scary for me now days all my friends are going.
please keep all my friends and there family in you thoughts.

As a wide-area Community of Internet Friends, we collectively send our Thoughts and Prayers to you, your family, and friends.  God has asked for their time now, far be it for us to hold them back.  Pray you don't have to join them any time soon so that someone is left to keep their memory alive.

God be with you, Leon. It isn't those that leave that suffer, it is those that are left.

God be with you, Leon. It isn't those that leave that suffer, it is those that are left.

Words of wisdom there.

I used to look at my parents 90 year old neighbor and wonder what it was like living to that age. I honestly don't know if I could handle it. Almost everyone he has ever loved or befriended is gone. I guess you have to value the friends you have while they are there, and having grandchildren and great grandkids gives you hope for the future.

I wish your friends the best.

Live for today. You may not get a tomorrow. Try to end each day without any mistakes or complications.
