I'm going up to PB Outfitters for deer on the 4th week of Nov. Wish I could go for bear this year, but maybe next year. Paul has some of the best bear habitat there is, his results speak for themselves... Wish you good luck Cabin... :D

Im going again  the final week of Baiting Sept 15 - 19 in the Seboomook Lake region North of Moosehead Lake. I havent been to this area before so i dont know what to really expect, except that no one will have sat on these Baits yet this year. Cant wait. Time to sharpen the broadheads.

Fatcat,
PB outfitters is in the Baker Lake region, the camp sits about 50 yrds. from the Quebec border. Diff. type of country than southern Maine. Make sure you take every thing you'll need. Theres a little store there in Seboomook but prices are quite high. We stop in Greenville and fill up 6-- 5 gal. gas cans. From there its about 100 miles of dirt road to camp. The 30 gal. takes us through the week and back down to Greenville. They have gas out there but its pretty expensive, can't blame them being that far out to have it hauled in.
Good luck with your bear hunt, theres some big brusers up in that country...

I will be at PB Outfitters the 3rd week of the season. This will be my first with Pauls operation. After alot of bear habitate research, phone calls to wardens and game biologists, I feel extremlly comfortable that PB is in a great area.

I can't wait.

Cabin,
You should have a good hunt, Pauls a pretty good boy. He had a good year last year, 81 hunters and 68 animals taken. Oh yeah... forgot, his brother Steve is one hellava cook. Every meal is all you can eat, they make you all the sandwitches you want to take out each day while hunting.

I'll be with Kathy & Jim Lynch at Fish River Lodge along with my two boys the week of Sept. 7th.  I spent a week there last year.  Saw 2 bear, missed one.  Two others in camp harvested a bear.  That was 3 sightings for four hunters.  I'd say that was a pretty good week.  Here's hopeing this year will be as good.
