No Set Trigger in 527 Carbine?

I was checking out a used CZ527 Carbine in 7.62x39 at a local shop.  The trigger has a bit of creep, and did not appear to be a set trigger; at least I couldn't set it like the new .22 Hornet next to it.
Was there a time these did not include the set trigger, or is it possible the previous owner adjusted it so it could not be set?
BTW, is $450 a decent price for a used model in good condition?

Nope.  I got a new one two weeks ago for $500.00 and a set trigger.  I ordered it directly from CZ and got it in a week.  I suggest you find a dealer that will go to CZ.

Thanks for the reply. How did you manage to get it from CZ for $500 when the MSRP is over 6? Is the market that slow that CZ is that willing to deal?

BTW, I could have sworn Bud's had one in stock earlier today, but now they're showing "out of stock". Last price $554.

My question is still out there for anyone else in the know:  Does this rifle I handled NOT have a set trigger, i.e. did CZ make this rifle without it, or was it just badly adjusted or malfunctioning?

I have not paid MSRP on any rifle.  About $100 under is about normal in this area (North Alabama).  I read on another post where I guy got the 527 for $490 out the door.

I bought a CZ 550 American and in the manual it says the set feature can be either removed or adjusted off.  The manual is on their web site too.

There is a possibility of dismantling the set-trigger without any impairment to the functional properties or adjustment of the conventional trigger.

Looking at the top of the trigger you should see a small screw. If this screw isn't adjust properly then it will not allow the trigger to be pushed forward in the "set" mode.
