CAUTION, don't read this if you are tired of hearing about things being sent back for barrel fitting! I got one frame back today, sent 2, the 357 barrel was mounted as was a scope rail. Hammer extention was loose in the box, which was beat up, and had scraped the barrel and stock. The extention was bent on the open end. Barrel fits ok, extractor seems to work. Had asked for trigger work on both frames, this one is not any better. No swivels in the plastic stock, invoice says there is. same with the forearm. Invoice says 357 barrel with sights, but has charges for sight blade, screws, sight slide, washer tang screw, tang screw, and $15.00 each for barrel fitting, test, shipping and handling, and last but not least GR-PROOF. Total on the invoice, $228.04. I can't wait to see what the other invoice is for the other one when I get it back. Sent 2 frames 6-13-08 to get 2 barrels, 2 sets of plastic stocks, and 3 rails with hammer extensions. Hell for $21.00 more I could have bought the whole gun new and had it then. Happy with this? Not in the least. I will be calling Remington in the morning.
