I regularly load lots of M193 equivilent loads on my Dillon 550B. I size the cases on a sigle stage press first with an RCBS X-die. That way I don't have to trim.  I then clean the lube off the cases, inspect the cases and remove the crimp if necessary.  I use H335 or AA2230 almost exclusively for M193 loads and 55 gr SX varmint loads or 52 Gr Speer HPs (for gas guns).  On the 550B a neck size die is in station 1 to remove any dents from cleaning or handling and cases are charged. The use of the NS die also gives a little resistance as the press is operated which results in more uniform powder charges.  Station 2 is the standard Dillon powder thrower. Station 3 seats the bullet. Station 4 is a Lee factory crimp die for use with the M193 bullets or is left empty with the 55 gr SX or the 53 gr Speer.

H335 and AA2230 both give pressure and velocity within spec for the .223 cartridge with 50-55 gr bullets. They both meter accurately through the Dillon with consitant operation of the press.  Accuracy is always as good as it will get given the capability of the rifle and the quality of the bullet.

I started out working up a loads for my 223 in my T/C carbine barrel with W748 and that's were I stopped. The Hornady 55gr SX bullets shot so well I didn't go any farther. I'm sure the H322 must shoot well in it also, because H322 shoots very good in my Bullberry 222 carbine barrel with 50gr SX bullets.

I have to second the H335 at 25 grains for 55 gr. fmjbt's using cci small rifle primers. Shoots as well as i can out of 16 in. AR, and have shot many 3/8 inch 100 meter groups through a interarms Mini Mauser. I also used this powder for some old 70 gr. sp hornady's for small swamp deer wasn't impressed with accuracy while they would shoot under MOA still alot worse than the 55 gr. So far I haven't found a rifle that didn't like this loading as long as it was set to length for the rifle it was meant for. Even if used in the wrong rifle I have found it to be better than factory 55 gr. loadings.

A good AR virus is what you need. :D

Don't do it. Just be content with the rifles that you have and let the  AR Ban come, then you will be safe from the disease.  I foolishly caught it intentionally.  Innocently purchased an R-15 a couple weeks ago.  Now I have 15 or so magazines ordered from different vendor's I look several times a day to see if there are any more available.  Bought 1,000 once fired brass and 1,000 Hornady SP's and I know I'm wayyyy under prepared for Obama's ban.  And I've decided that I need another AR before the Whacko takes over the Oval Office, and will likely get a Bushy or S&W in the near future.  Starting to figure out that I will need parts someday, and there is little to nothing available.  I will likely take a big sigh of relief when the ban is here, before the panic sets in for good.  I wonder if he realizes how many guns he has sold.  I had no intent of every buying an AR, but decided that I better get one before he tells me that I can't...As he said, this time it will be PERMANENT.

BTW, 25gr H335 and a bulk 55gr Hornady SP works well for me.
