October 10, Good morning Montana
« on: October 10, 2008, 03:02:09 AM »
Good morning every one.  So disappointed this morning when I went to let the dogs out.  25 Degrees and no snow. Our reputation is at stake. We haven't had snow here since June.

I have nothing planned to do today, And....I will do nothing well.  Oh this retired thing is so much fun.

Doug

You had snow but it blew away during the night  ::)

Don't worry you will get plenty soon enough and then be looking forward to when it all melts or blows away.

You can say that again..... we need another winter over here in the Flathead like we did back in 96 where we had an acumulation total of 10' for the winter.  I remember where they had to get crews to use snow blowers on the tops of shopping centers and grocery stores.  Snow so deep in Kalispell, you could not see the other side of on coming traffic, and in a heavy blow visability of 50 feet sometimes less.  That was the year I hunted out west of town and the snow was so deep that it took me over an hour to cover 100 yards thru waist deep snow.

Yep we need some snow....

Gonna get me some snow shoes just in case.  ;D
