I have a Buffalo hunt coming up and want to use my 45-70 Sharps, I have 500 Grain round nose, 500 Grain Paul Jones Creedmoore and plain old 405 grain bullets to load, I will be using Goex Cartridge grade for powder, shots could be as close as 50 yards out to 300, I won't try any fuurthur than that. Anyone with any real life experience have any info on how well these bullets would work, or should I try a different bullet ?
