If Obama wins. Do you think someone will try to assassinate him? I in no way agree with such action but would just like your opinion if you think it will happen. I personally think it would be a disgrace to the American people and the voting system if it were to happen. That would put us up there with third world countries that are out of control. Dale

In my 59 years on this planet, this has got to be some of the most outlandish election "speculation" I have ever witnessed. Topped only by the extreme scenarios put forth for both candidates. This is but one of them. It would seem the gamut is run from unreasonable fear, to bravado to the extreme of being goofy in nature. I have even read one, where the goofball hopes the candidate wins, and then dies. :(
Could Obama actually be an "alien war lord" assisted by McCain whom is actually an "alien robot" whom is doing a sub standard Clint Eastwood voice impersonation, and both are here to over throw the world, and start raising humans in feedlots for alien consumption? :o
Which ever of the two candidate wins, it will be a bad choice at best. ;)
 But on the up side both have proven that they can work well together, as they both supported and voted for the BUYING OF OUR FINANCIAL SYSTEM, in order to bring it to FULL SOCIALIST STATUS. ;)
Which ever one wins, all we will have to do now, is to ask our government if we're allowed to by something, and see if they will give us an advance on our allowance. :o

I cannot imagine a worse scenario than an Obama presidency and I don't like using capital letters, but my opinion is THUMBS DOWN on this subject for speculation and a poll.

DALE. It is a good question. I fear osama, but hope that nobody tries to kill him. Do I think someone will try??? Just don't know. I work with a few blacks who are really good Christians, so I thought. They will vote for osama, cause he's black. Neither agree with gay marriage, or killing babies, but they'll still vote for him, cause he's black. He is the scariest thing I've ever seen run for president, and the biggest racist since George Wallace. POWDERMAN.  ??? ???

The problems we are having in this country today has been stressful enough.The economy is getting worse everyday.The government has poked a finger in everyones eye with this bail out and we are to set back and take it.The country is in trouble and I don't think electing a black president will help resolve the problems.Like it or not the country still has racial issues.This country isn't ready for that big of a change yet.Either way if he is elected or not you can look for racial tension to rise.Both candidates are wrong for the job but McCain is the less of the two evils.

Dale: I have wanted to bring it up myself several times, I just never got around to doing it.  The real shocker is that my Teenage son came home six months ago and said the exact same thing. 
that was the first time I have heard it, and I have heard it several times since.  Just speculation from a lot of folks.  My son is not a raciest, a bigot, or radical in any way.  He is a typical Hockey player.  That is what is going around the hockey locker rooms, and it is what the teenagers are saying in this country.  I hope it does not happen, in fact I have sworn twice to protect the President whom ever it is, at all cost.  I may be retired but the oath still stands, as long as I draw that retirement check, and subject to being recalled, AGAIN.

Yes, it is a subject we don't like to broach, but a very realistic scenario.  Avoiding it doesn't make any difference.  It's been done before, more than once.  And it can be done again.  Just talking about it does not mean you want it to happen, or that you are planning any thing along those lines.  Believe me if I get a feeling along those lines from anyone I will be the first one to report it, even tho I don't like the guy.  And I don't believe anyone here is leaning that way anyway.  We are all sensible human beings.  Sometimes we don't see eye to eye on many issues, and disagree adimitely, we can still agree to disagree.

I'm glad I'm not in the Secret Service, or on Presidential Support duty.

Geez kid get a little hair, no one is saying they are wanting to or going to assassinate Barrak. This question is do you think someone will try. Heck ole Barrak is a Muslim and the Muzzy's seem to like to kill off thier own, who knows.

I voted yes, because there are no fewer nuts running around these days than ever before.  Heck, there have been a ton of liberals who have openly advocated and even written books about assassinating President Bush.

That aside, in my opinion this country would virtually become a third world nation if Osama gets elected.  On the other hand, it would take a totally whacked out non-thinker to whack Osama with that bucking Fiden waiting to step into the Presidency.  Fiden is truly the dumbest sumbitch that ever called himself a senator and no self respecting assassin would saddle this country with that pos.

Will someone? Dunno. I think it would be tough to pull off but certainly there are folks out there powerful enough to do so. The problem is I think those folks are the ones who want him in. I'd not at all be surprised if lots of attempts to do so take place however.

I don't think that it's an inappropriate question in the least.  We speculate on the same thing at work and over the dinner table.  Personally I'm 100% sure that at least one yahoo out there will try something.  Maybe even get a potshot off at him, who knows.
