Strange critter

Anybody ever seen something that looks like this? I caught it on camera at my bear bait site. I figured that you trappers would know best what it might be. The barrel on the left is a 55gal drum for size comparison. It looks to me like either a HUGE skunk (40 pounds or so) or possibly a badger or wolverine. The location is the mountains Northeast of Boise Idaho.

Tough to really gage size in apicture. Easy to loose depth preception.
I'm definately guess here but if those are the eyes lighting up, it looks more like some type of cat??

Too far from civilization for me to think it's a cat. Someone on another forum suggested perhaps a martin or maybe a porcupine. Oh, and as for depth, the critter is about 10 feet behind the barrel.

Looks like niether a marten--to wide and large. Not a prky either--not wide enough and looks like fur its wearing not quills.
looks cat like to me, cats are all over ---even 10 miles from homes and farms--feral cats are ruining a lot of our wildlife.

I can also see how that can be a skunk. It would explain the way the white hair is just spritzed in there.
