Stock Market Up

And gas is $2.89.....

Must be Bush's fault.

Don't get excited about yesterday's increase in the stock market. Until the interbank lending and commercial paper lending is in good health again we are still in a serious world-wide crisis. Also, the stock market is significantly lower today than it was when Bush took office.

Everything is Bush's fault. It is if you are a democrat or a member of the media anyway.

Personally I think stocktraders are human versions of lemmings. Let one start and they all jump off the cliff.

I saw gasoline for $2.84 in Lubbock,TX Saturday and the TV was showing it in Albuqurque for $2.75 Sunday. It's three hundred miles to an oilwell and quite a bit further to a refinery from Albuquerque but here in the middle of the oilpatch it has finally dropped to $3.30. Nothing new but try to get a distributer to explain why.

It's funny that most here instantly blame President Bush if everything is bad, but give him no credit if things get better.  It must be like gas prices going up when oil goes up, but not going down when oil goes down.

Bush = Politician
Politician = Crook

They are all the same... regardless of party alliance.
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

People that think at all are the rarity.  The only thing I hear on this forum are Constantly Negative News echos.  People actually believe (and repeat) what the liberal media tells them.

Yep, and about two thousand points above what it fell to after 9-11 (unless you're going to try to blame Bush for that also).   ::)

Market will continue reacting irradically for a while still.  We'll probably test the bottom set last Friday and then, maybe, we will start trending upward.

i would have to agree with you on that.  the bottom falls out now and then, it is just the nature of the thing.

Bush doesn't have a thing to do with gasoline prices, and very little to do with the stock market.

That does not, however, make him any less of a failure as a president.
