RUger No. 1-B value
« on: October 14, 2008, 09:47:14 AM »
I recently bought 2 #1-B's very cheaply. One in .22 hornet, the other in .218 Bee. Could anyone tell me an approximate going rate for these guns? I see Ruger no longer chambers them, but have had no real luck finding any for sale in these calibers to get an approximate value. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Billy

650-700 has been the going rate down here if they are in 95+ shape.

Kinda depends...the older #1's with the red pad might command a bit more and I do believe the .218 chambering will command a slight premium as well.  For the most part, $700-$750 is common which of course is dependant on condition.

Thanks guys, both guns are in 95+ condition, and both have red recoil pads as well. Very nice rifles, and I got them for a steal. I was just curious about actual current value. Thanks, Billy
