Cowboy Action Shooting with Puma 92
« on: October 14, 2008, 10:56:35 AM »
Just completed a Cowboy Action Shoot here in Southern California using Colt SAA, Stoger 2bbl shotgun and Puma 92 carbine, 20 inch bbl. The Puma worked very well, no feeding problems, very accurate. Shot 45 Long Colt, 200 Gn SWC lead. 70 rds through the rifle, 1 miss, no jams. Seems like a functional accurate rife at a good cost ($399.99 New at Big 5). Anyone else used this model in a match?

Yes, I have a Rossi M92  and now it is smooth. I was swith 20 inch octagon barrel and am very satisfied. I had Nate Kiowa Jones  (Stevesgunz) do an action job on it since the action was so stiff. I was surprised how accuratly it shoots.
