Hi Guys, :D

Been away from my TC's for about 15plus years, didn't sell them, just kept them put away in my safe!  Now that my interest in single shots has been renewed I'm trying to gether a little background.

Anyway, there's a lot of talk in the forum about pre-fire/post-fire frames.  Can you enlighten me as to when TC had a fire (year, s/n's or what have you).  :?:

I've owned my my current collection of TC's since around the early 80's.  I've owned 6 since the early 70's, my first three were bought and sold as interest changed, but not these last three.

Thanks for any info provided

Doc-and:  The TC plant fire was on 3/28/97.  After that Contender frames had just the Puma head.  That would be after 446202 and before 446735. Ken  8)

They're both of good quality.  The newer contender frames had a ghastly el-cheapo  childish laser-etched puma head on the frame so the cosmetics weren't quite as nice. The old frames had a nicer puma body cast or engraved in the frame.  The new G2 doesn't have either and looks pretty nice.

Thanks for the info. :D

I also like the looks of the new G2, might have to pick up one or two, you know a blue and a stainless.
