I saw this leftie 1911 and decided it needed to be adopted.
While I'm left handed I'm still more comfortable with the regular 1911 with an ambi safety.
This one needed a warm home for the winter.

Safari Arms Renegade, Olympic Arms told me they made something less than 50 of them.

I buy my own birthday presents too. That way my wife gets me just what I want. ;D

I'm curious if this is more comfortable for you once you shoot it.

Thanks, I don't remember how I got into this birthday gun thing but it's fun.
After handling it for awhile I have to say I feel sorry for right handed people using a standard 1911. I'm so used to using my left index finger to release the mag and tap the slide release if needed I have trouble working the ones on a true leftie gun.

I'm with you. Sometimes it helps to grow up left handed in a right handed world.
