Thinking of Mr. Greybeard
« on: October 15, 2008, 12:54:16 PM »
Greybeard, went out to the garden just an hour ago. Picked some green tomatoes, mixed up some spice's in flour, getting the bacon fat out of the refrigerator and fry some up. Wife and I indulge our selves once or twice a year. Better late than never. gypsyman

Fried green maters sure are good grub. We didn't plant any these last couple years due to the drought we've been having and I miss them and mater samwiches both. Maybe next year.

Let me know if you don't plant any. My wife just started our tomato seeds today and we will have a million Beefstake tomatoes and I will send you some. ;D Dale
