Christian vote for Obama?
« on: October 18, 2008, 12:09:53 AM »
Many seem to be following Obama ..like lined up lemmings..and that includes some Christians. Here is an article written by  a well known black musician/evangelist..perhaps it is worth a read. I have already checked it out with Snopes. Theri only correction is that he did not intend the essay to be sent to the whole, wide world.

Blacks are only 13% of the population. When you factor people that are old enough to vote and those which still have the right to vote, they only make up 4% of the population. If Obama is elected it will be white America that does so.

As for Christians voting for him;
Barry Obama legally changed his name to Barock Husien as a muslim. When he desired puplic office Michelle Obama informed him he would have to be a Christian before he would ever be elected. I wont get into ones personal faith, I'll only state that to gain politicl office doesn't seem to be a valid emotion of conversion.
Our media likes to paint the picture of a kindler gentler, peaceful muslim. These associations are an oxymoron. Thier karan is about obliteration or conversion, no gray area. For this reason I can not vote for Obama.

I don't think he will get the black votes they say he will ,a lot of them say he lies to much.
And he is saying anything to anybody to get in there , but with Acorn some Blacks will be voting 80 times.

Perhaps Powell may help him in his own areas , but it was a Another Black Officer who said in reality that Powell was not a very good General.
He never truly made plans or made Decisions in the Gulf War ,Norman did all of that.

Powell endorsing the much less qualified Obama just proves that racism IS alive and well today...
McCain has perhaps 55% of the white vote..Obama has about 95% of the black vote..just more evidence..

TM7 you are absolutely correct, I did not think of that angle.

One more point of interest. It has been rumored for months the GOP has a video they will release right before the election. Supposedly it has Michelle Obama in the pulpit of the racist church giving a speech. It is supposed to contain a plea to blacks to quit black on black crimes  and calling for black on white crime instead. She is also supposed to refer to whitey.
I have no idea if this is true or not, but it was supposed to be confirmed by top officials in the GOP. Could have been spin though. This info was released when Obama and Clinton were still going at it.

If Obama does get it hunters and shooters are in big trouble.

 Bugflipper;
Someone could have a video showing them doing a lot worse than that, and their lemmings would still form a line for them.
The ability of these "followers" to ignore is uncanny...

Perhaps I can study 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and Revelations chapter 13 with better understanding now...

Ironglow, sadly, so true.
A radio network(may have been Mark Lavin), contacted 100 Obama supporters. They stated all of McCains views; prolife, drilling, taxation, nuclear power, health care ect. Out of the 100 all were for everything mentioned when they thought it was Obama's platform. When they were told that Obama had the exact opposite view, all of them still stated they were voting for Obama.
Change indeed.

Could be TM, but I have seen that same mindset in person..Bob, a friend of mine has a sister-in-law that "hates Bush" (can't really articulate why)..and is going to vote for Obama..because she has kids of military age and Obama "won't go to war". Bob can't convince her that the best way to invite war is to have a weak leader with a weak, simpering foreign policy (ask historians about Neville Chamberlain) and Churchill warned them all along..just as folks are now warning about Obama.
Obama has already said if draft becomes necessary, women should be drafted alongside men...hmmm

Consider..in 1992 when the twin towers was hit the first time, there was little or no retaliation...so we were hit with Khobar towers , Various embassies, the USS Cole and other attacks until 2000. In 2001 the terrorists "tried' the new prez and got their tails whipped for their trouble...no more attacks to this day...
Of course, Obama if elected may choose not to retaliate if our cities are bombed, gassed or attacked by nuclear or biological devices..but I doubt Bob's sister-in-law would be any more pleased..and suppose he does as he said in his book..stick with the Musklims..

we really need to know if he is eligible for the office by being a natural born citizen and he has filed a delay of discovery in the trial asking him to prove he is a citizen. Nobody is reporting on this try writing letters to the editors of your local papers and see if youy can get it in play.

If the media wanted Repubs in office, they would have given Obama the same scrutiny that Palin as VP a heartbeat away has.  Oxymoronic?  Unbiased?  Yes.

Obama is doing his best to play the part of a sheep, even though he's a wolf.

Then there's his slip-up of referring to the 57 states.  I'm guessing he meant 47, but who knows.  Interestingly, there are 57 Muslim states in the Islamic Conference.  But, after watching the video, it does appear that he's referring to the U.S. states.

Like a lot of religious people, Christians voting for Obama are ignoring their beliefs when it is convenient for them.

There are a lot of pretenders who wear their Christianity on their shoulder when it's convenient for them, then tuck it away without shame when it becomes a hindrance to getting ahead.

I wasn't really thinking about the PFC's as much as the fact that all of the princesses we have in this country, a bit of discipline and a lot less of makeup and jewellery would be a good thing. Heaven forbid that they( both Genders) may actually learn something useful besides keeping the pie hole shut when told to.

No actually I doubt they would be. Not everyone in the world goes around thinking with their small head all the time. In real serious combat that's the LAST think you are thinking of and you want someone who can and will be there to back you up and save your ass if it needs saving. You need a person who can act and react without emotion and be strong enough to pull you to safety quickly if the need arises. You do not need the petty jealouses that would result from mixing the sexes in a combat situation.

Think with the head on your shoulders.

I agree though I wonder if Cindy Sheehan would have the same attitude had she been in the combat zone as she does as a mother.

You can't be a Christian and a democrat.

For the record I am neither a Christian or a Democrat, but what makes the Republican party so holy?

The Republicans don't have a bunch of official policies, that the Bible condemns.

They don't want to kill babies, and they don't endorse rump rangers gettin' married.

Bull.  The Republicrats had 6 years in control of Congress AND the Presidency.  They haven't done a thing to bring this country closer to God, just bomb and kill and spend spend spend.  No progress against abortion, no progress against gay marriage.  Only a lot of extravagance and debt.

Let's also not forget that there's a couple of Republicans have a nasty habit of getting caught playing footsies in airport men's rooms and chasing their underage interns around.  The rest of the party didn't run those folks out on a rail, so I assume that they condone the behavior, at least when it's one of their own.

You missed the point.  Not doing anything and having a couple of dirtbags in the party, isn't the same thing as officially embracing an abomination....oops! did I make a funny?????

While Kev is right in that the Reps could have done more..they should have at least tried. Of course, they may have..but with a number of "moderates" in their party and all the Dems lined up against them it would, or possibly did, prove to be a exercise in futility.

Still; that is a far cry from embracing kid-killing, perverse "marriages" and a host of other evil things, as the Dems do.

Bill:
My remark about PFC's would be grateful was a tongue in cheek comment. I do not think women should be in a combat situation unless it would be as a pilot,
on a ship or in a support role not as a front line grunt. Lying in a foxhole with a bunch of smelly guys wasn't what I meant in a mixed gender role.

Israeli women serve as front line combat troops.  They're damn good at it too.
