Anyone know the symptoms of a stretched frame? I just noticed something about one of my contender frames. I just got a custom barrel that wouldn't close in the frame. I have two frames and in checking it out the problem I was comparing how my barrels fit on each frame. I noticed with one frame, all my barrels have a slight gap between the barrel and breach face when it's closed up. It's hard to tell but I don't think the gap is square to breachface. I think it's larger at the top.
I wouldn't expect my reloads have stretched the frame because I'm pretty conservative about getting near maximum loads. I'm wondering if this frame was always like this and I just never noticed.
