Family budgets being what they are most hunters only have one hunting rifle.
Now that's a statistic I'd like to know your source on. I don't know a single person who hunts and has only one hunting rifle. In fact I'm not sure I know anyone personally who has only two of them much less one.
Anyone at all here fit into that category of owning only a single hunting rifle?
I fall into the single hunting rifle category.....I have several levers, a couple single shots, and a few bolt-actions. Each year I hold a lottery and one rifle is chosen as that year's hunting rifle. Hence, I have only one hunting rifle, which this year happens to be a Marlin 336 in 35 rem.
I've heard conversations were "my hunting rifle" was mentioned, but after a little more discussion...there was always more than one "available".
