Trigger Pull Reducer
« on: October 19, 2008, 04:01:19 AM »
I ran across the EZ-PULL trigger assist while flipping through one of my distributor catalogs.  It caught my attention and I found the company’s link online (http://www.ezpulltriggerassist.com/), which includes a video.  I have not tried it but thought some of you looking for a trigger pull reducer might be interested.  Since it works on a cammed extended lever arm principle, I can certainly believe the benefits of reduced trigger pull.  I would not expect it to reduce, may actually increase, trigger travel and doubt it would be NRA silhouette legal, but don’t know.  Interesting item.

It's not so much a pull reducer as a torque multiplier. Yes it has to greatly increase the trigger pull or effective pull as you in fact pull it as the trigger rather than the trigger of your firearm and it in turn works as a lever to pull the firearm trigger for you. I'll not say it won't work but for me a trigger would have to be truly horrible and not fixable by a gunsmith before I'd mess with one. Still since I've not tried I can't know for sure the full effects of it.
