There was always WMD of some sorts there...as I remember it, the UN outlawed scud missiles...Iraq had lots of those, the gas you mentioned as well...and of course the yellow cake. "not feasible for use in weapons, power plants"....but yet this 550 tons went to Canada for use in their power plants. Guess they will make it work for them easy enough.
Bottom line is...regardless if we agree on if we should have made Iraq the fighting grounds...WMD was always there, the UN resolutions were broken many times, and the UN voted to do something about it as well, although they are worthless and just stir the pot more than help anything. Far as I'm concerned the United Nations should not be allowed to ever pass another resolution until they all say what they are going to do when they DO pass one. By the way, they have been passing resolutions against Iran as well, in case nobody is keeping up on that....they are still stirring the pot with no intentions of backing anything up. I would suppose the very same deal will happen with Iran that happened with Iraq. Nice job UN. Thanks for being there.
And no...the media will not want too much of this WMD thing getting out now, the big news was already reported many times...NO WMD....who is going to report this now?
