how to buy from the classifieds?

does the seller have to ship to a ffl holder?  that is the average transaction price a ffl holder usually charges?  is there any other laws that i should know about?  thanks for any help!
I've got to many but never enough!!!! :eek:

seller ships to FFL.
FFL prices vary, check with the dealer you want it shipped to
make it clear with seller who pays frt.

Only complete firearms or the receiver(frame) must be shipped with FFLs involved, barrels and other parts can be shipped direct to an individual. Firearms questions are answered on the ATF website in the FAQs link below in the Unlicensed Persons section. You can find dealers to handle the transaction in the last two links below, they list the fee, but you must contact them to make arrangements and confirm they're still licensed, find out what they charge up front since the list may be out of date.
