Need some advice. Starting to reload for a Ruger SBH .44 mag 7 1/2". 95% of my hunting is for Texas Whitetails with a few Turkeys and small to mid-size hogs. I will start with 2400 as my powder since I've had really good accuracy with it in the past. My bullet weight will be in the 240-250 grain range and will try for 1000-1100 fps. 50 yards and under on shot distance. My question...would you go with a hollow point, or like a flat-nose hard cast, or does it matter based on my specs? I'm looking for accuracy first, but good exansion on what I hunt. Thanks for any help!
regards,
Randy
