October 24, Good morning Montana, okay evening everyone

Wow, the hole day got away from me with out saying good Morning.  Windy day it was today.  I

 have been running aorund getting ready for tomorrow.  I have been trying to track down several landowners to renew my permnission to hunt. Remebered I don't have a sled so I bought on.  You know those cheap children plastic toboggans, there is nothing better for dragging deer out of the stubble fields.  I added a couple of dowels down the side attached with some bolt eyes.  I  use the eyes to tie the deer in.

I have been chasing down landowners to get permission to hunt. Haven't been able to catch them at home so I gfot onthe phone and got to three of them.  That should be plenty for now.

Told the wife we are getting up at 4 AM and heading, lets see if she gets up.  I won't be reporting in until tomorrow evening, hopefully with pictures of the wife's deer.

This will be my first Montana Deer hunt since 2001.  Hunted in South Africa in 2002 and South Carolina in 2003 and 2004...what joke that was.

Good mor, er, evening.   Just got things put together to take off tomarrow to hit camp.  Pretty nice day today, not as good as yesterday.  Have been looking for a trailer to haul the 6 wheeler on for 2 months, all used ones big enough are new price.   Broke down and bought one from TSC after work, 6x12 so will hold the darn thing. I swear, every time I go to camp, I haul more junk that I really don't need.  Just take it cause ya never know.  Montanan, hope the shoulder give it a rest for ya.  Hope you get to hunt this year.  Double D, good hunting to you and the wife.  Everybody be safe and enjoy.  DP
