I shot one last year and was crazy in love with it. Compact and powerful and accurate and durable and expensive. I have a full size M1A and would rather have the SOCOM because of the size and weight difference. Maybe next year.

It really did feel good and very lite.
Seems like he had a $1370.00 tag on it.

A tack driver. The recoil is a bit stiff, since it is so light. I installed a rubber pad, so now my teeth don't rattle. I also took off the flash suppressor and put a compensator on it. Now it kicks about as much as any other .308.

Another thing I like about this rifle is that I can hold it at my side, pointing at the ground, by the pistol grip and it does not touch the ground, very short and compact.

Picked up one sat . had to sack a small collection , price now $1600.00 in our area when you can find one .
Shot it Sun. with mil. ball and PMC 147 gr. ball . both shot good . To be honest we shot late in afternoon and the wind was blowing so group at 100 yards was + - 3-4 inches . but with wind and fading light and new gun , not bad in a cross wind ranging from none to 25 mph.
Gun worked 100% . It has only scout rail not the 4 rail system .
muz. flash is impressive , didn't notice recoil as that bad .

Anyone installed a scout scope on one ? which one and how well did you like it ?
Also which scope mount do you think best if standard scope is used ?
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
