High Standard R-101

Came into a deal for a R-101 in great shape for $129.  I haven't shot it yet.  Any other R-101 shooters out there?

Check out entries under the name Sentinel. You got a better deal than I did. MIne is a very good shooter.

A few years ago when I used to shoot more, I could hit 5 out of 9 clay targets set out at 100 yards from a solid rest with mine.

Had two of them, one belonged to my dad, the other mine. They were purchased back in the 60s. They were decent pistols for their time. I put a LOT of assorted ammo thru mine. Both still work fine, and reside in my son's safe. $100-$150 is probably about right for one in good condition.

I have one with 6" barrel. DA trigger pull must be 20#, but SA is ok. I shoot CBs, LRs, shorts, Aquila and no problem with any of them. Mine was given to me. Good lil critter control gun.

I bought one in with a two inch barrel anodized gold color for 300.00.  Well I did"t mind paying that price.  When my grandson and I went to shoot it at the local rifle range, oh man is it ever accurate.  My 10 year old grandson off hand was shooting shot at empty shotgun shells and kept following them round after round.  It is a keeper this shots were fired in sa in da it is like a 20 or more lb. trigger pull hurts after a while.  Anyway I have been buying more of this sentinels and I am you could say starting to make a collection of this things.  Or yet even better great little weapons.
