I also have a 357max and if you go back a ways you'll find detailed reassembly instructions from me as told to me by a smith at CZ. You have to remove the trigger group and then you can acess the crane retainer ring and remove it with a jeweler's or small screwdriver and the crane should pull forward, place at least 2 spent shells in the cylinder and restrain the ejector rod in a padded vice and unscrew the cylinder from the ejector rod and the cylinder will be released from the crane; be careful of the extractor spring as it can spring out and away. There is an allen screw on the Rt. rear of the frame that is used to trap the main spring; you unscrew it from the frame and place it in the bolt hole at the base of the tang and with the hammer cocked you tighten the allen screw to trap the mainspring to facilitate removal of the trigger group.
