AR A3 model Highpower Service Rifle
« on: October 27, 2008, 02:44:16 AM »
Are the A3 models acceptable to use in High power service.  I'm looking for a new predator rifle and I'm considering a Rock River or a Bushmaster NM.  For resale I think I could sell the A3 to HP competitors easier than the varmit or predator models of the AR since I won't be putting a lot of rounds through it compared to HP shooters.

Thanks,

Turk

Yes sir they are fine. The RR would carry a bit more value to the HP shooter though. Just try to get one with a 1-8 or 1-7 twist since the trend in HP has been leaning towards the heavier bullets. It will still do outstanding with the 55 gr that you'll probably want to use on those critters.
Scroll down to equipment and it'll let you know what is needed.
