I need a Red dot scope for 30-30 pistol

I was out back shootin my  30-30 contender pistol and after shots the glass in the in side of the scope that the laser reflects off of shattered. I guess the recoil of a .30 cal pistol was to much (that's what told the manufacture anyway). well to make a long post short dose anyone have red dot mounted on their rifle cal. pistol or have any ideas try next ?

I bought a Cabelas Pine Ridge  Red Dot with Circle Dot,Circle  Cross, Cross & Dot had it on my 15" 30-06 pistol barrel & a Leupold Gilmore Red Dot on the 454 casull 15 inch barrel until the recoil knocked it loose then an ejected shell hit the lens & chipped it internally can still see out of it.

I've had a millet sp1 for about 10 years now. It's all scratched and banged up but the inside is fine. It's been on probably more than a dozen pistols including a 30/30 and 45/70. A buddy has one of the bushnell holo sights on a 300 mag pislol, it has held up well. I'm sure the holosights are still around on the used market.

Pine Ridge, bsa, the red dot i tried (Tru glo) and a few others are all made by the the same company in China.

I was shooting my nieces little 22 mag rifle this morning with a Millet red dot scope on it... and shooting past 50 yards was tough for me...the red dot kept covering up the target... gonna try it again soon....got some good groups though....

My Pine Ridge was made in Japan,you can check out Sightron Red Dot Scopes with 4 reticles made in Korea

I use Ultra-dot red-dot on my big boomer handgun. 500 Mag, 480 Ruger, 475 Linebaugh and S&W 460 Mags. With over thousands of rounds, they are hold up well. In my opinion they are one f the best other there for the price.  Now if you want to spend more money, look at the EoTech, I have one on a custom 510 GNR Encore barrel.

  I just have to know, you don't happen to shoot a 10" barrel, do you? Often wondered if that was okay or if recoil is heavy.
