NEI and 'Thumper'
« on: August 09, 2003, 07:10:12 AM »
Just a note for those that didn't see my reply/post on the cast bullet forum. NEI has been up and running for over a month now (in El Paso) I ordered a .375-290-PP .364 Dia. mold (#183 aluminum)  for the H&H this week. The staff was helpful on the phone and even made sure he had the right cherry. No, their website is not working right now (under construction) Contact them by email: nei@columbia-center.org. This is my first attempt at paper patching.......anyone care to share load data and or experiance with PP for a bolt gun? 'Thumper' is a custom Whithworth MARK X. Bob, (Robert Hisserich Co., Mesa, AZ) built this beast for hard field use and reliability.  Brown Precision pillar bedded stock, welded/sculpted scope mounts, a removable Answer Brake System, Timmny fire contol,  a durable rust blue, and only weighs 8.8 pounds w/Leupold 1.75X6 mounted. It's just Awsome! Shoots most any load into an inch at a hundred, but really likes a Barnes 210X bullet at around 3000fps! That one usually has small children moving away from my bench at the public range........Aim small, Forest.
