Ramrod Issues

Has anyone had any issues with the new ramrods CVA is using now? In my old Optima the ramrod was an excellent fiberglass composite. The new one in the Elite is crap! I shot it 17 times and it is bent, scraped, and busted the opposite end with the Barnes Expander jag on it...... :-\

Just wondering...


I called CVA and he agreed with me that they are thinner and he did not know why they went to the current rods. Of course CVA's  customer service is the best and they are sending me out a replacement...But still!   >:(

I totally agree with you, the only thing I didn't like about my elite was the weak ramrod.  I replaced mine with a TC Power Rod and haven't looked back.
