Red Dot Scopes on Encore pistols. Updated-used SEARCH

I have never seen a red dot on an Encore pistol but I was wondering if it had been done. I am learning that many of the questions asked on this site have already been answered. I used the search feature and found quite a bit of information on using a red dot on the Encore pistol.

I had a Cabela's Pine Ridge Red Dot on my 454 casull 15" Encore Pistol w/o any scope problems but the   weaver aluminum bases got gauled from the recoil so I switched to steel rings and bases which solved one problem,the rings are removeable so I can change the scope to another barrel.  shoots loose after a few rounds of 454 casull Magtech  260gr JFP ammo.

I have a Ultra-dot Match dot on my 10 inch custom 475 Linebaugh Encore barrel, and also one on my custom Gary Reeder 410 GNR Encore barrel. On my custom Gary Reeder 510 GNR Encore barrel, I have a EoTech on it.

They work great on them heavy kickers.

I have ultra dot match on my 12 gauge I like it.
