Does anyone have one of these in a 15 in. barrel? If so, how do you like it and does it shoot good? Thanks

Yep, get with KOYDE he has one and loves it.It is a good caliber very accurate and good power for just about anything you'll ever hunt in the lower 48's. :D

yep, 15" stainless factory TC 7-08. like it really well! 5 shots just under 1 1/2" @100 with 40.0gr h4895 and 120gr noslers. i havn't shot it since last season, and i'm betting it'll do better than that. i'm gonna start tinkering with the load shortly. i tried only one factory load. rem 120gr hp's chronied 2700fps, and i got anywhere from 1 1/2" to 3" groups.
a good scope, keep the forearm from touching the barrel as much as possible, good bench technique(sand bags or handgun rest), good trigger pull, a good load, tailord for your barrel, lot's of practice, and you'll be set for the season. :D

Got one too! Factory SS with a 2X Leupold on top. Really like the caliber as it is accurate and easy to shoot.(low recoil) Had a fella give me a tip on using Viht N550 and all I can say is THATS the powder I'm gonna use. Tried Varget, 4064, H380, 4895, and a list of others and the N550 gave the best vel and accuracy. Best to date is .70 @ 100 for 3 shots, 140 Nosler BT @ 2600. Now I just have to round up that big buck I saw last fall. :)

Are your barrels that you are useing T/C factory barrels or custom barrels. I am thinking about going with FoxRidge. I just had a 7mm RM made by Bullberry and it is a excellent barrel.  The wait is long though it took my 5 months to get, it was worth the wait. It will either be Fox or bullberry. Thanks for the feed back about this.

Mine is a factory bbl and I had to send the first one back because of off center chamber. This one is much better but the chamber seems a bit large. I also spent quite a few rounds and some time lapping to get it to shoot well and it still can be a little finicky.  If I do it again it'll be a bullberry or other custom.
On that N550 I should mention that it seems to work good on bullets from 130 grain on UP. Tried it on some 110 TNT's tonight and its a flamethrower but on 140's-160's it's great. The N540 might be better for the lighter bullets.

I have a 15" factory barrel in 7-08 (blue) and am very pleased with it.  I still believe most people are well served by standard factory barrels unless you want something they don't chamber.
