Rut is starting to kick in

I live in the corner of sw mo.  i saw a nice buck yesterday with his nose buried in his girlfriend, running her across a field.  Next 2 weeks should be good.

     I live in Barry County in sw MO and I agree the rut is starting to kick in from what I've seen!

piney, what part of barry yu live in?i live in newton co near fairveiw. im sittin on the back porch and just heard a deer wind me and blow bout 5 times. glad to hear the rut has started near me.

piney, ahhhh cassville is very nice, ive spent plenty of time at roaring river.yes i hope it cools down too a little. i hate haveing to rush when cutting up yur deer cuz it 75 degrees out. but then this weather is the nicest for hunting.good luk down there in them hills with the opening day!i saw a nice shooter buck today a couple miles from my house and he was on the move, hopefully in my direction.he was 135 to 145 class buk which is pretty good for my particular area.

saw 3 small bucks today south of joplin in diff places, all were on the tail end of groups of does. looking good with the cooler weather and all. good luk yuall!

Ive heard the same thing around Lebanon MO.

Season on sat should be fun, Just worried about the moon phase right now. :-\
