Doug, I've bought a Lee six gang mold to cast their 430-310-RF and working on a load with a moderate amount of 2400 and if things go as planned I'll shoot this out of my Mountain Gun?

but, I'll take my Marlin 336 in .35 Remington just in case I don't get the shot I would like for a handgun? Hate to pay this much and have to come home empty handed. This will be a once in a life time thing for me.

I really like that M25. I have one in .45ACP/AR and it is a real shooter.

Steve - that is one great find and a beautiful pair of handguns.  Keep them well hidden in case the forces of evil win the election.

I loaded up some 295-300 gn cast semi-wadcutters over 17.5 gns of 2400 for a nice accurate and easy shooting load.  I think they clock somewhere around 1100'/sec from my 4" M29.  Good luck at Wild Hill with that load and even if you can't get close enough with the 44 I know your 35 will bring you home the bacon.................
