Puma Front Sight.....

I have a Puma Stainless in .44 Mag and want to change the front sight to a hooded sight.  I then realized that the dovetail is larger than the standard 3/8 dovetail.  Does anyone make a larger dovetail front sight for the Puma?  I do not have the tools or the know how to manufacture one, so I was wondering if someone sells one.

Well, you could possibly solder a ramp over the dovetail to cover it. Or pay a good gunsmith to make just what you want. I can't think of any hooded fronts with oversize dovetails that are commonly available.
