Lets go vote guys. Even if you have to wait an hour. I voted at 6:30 AM here in Louisiana and had to wait about 45 minutes.

I hate standin in line, I've been voting absentee ballot for about 20yrs, voted 2 weeks ago at my dining room table!!

I just came back from there. The poll workers said they were having a record turnout. I guess I'll know tomorrow morning if I need to bury my Handis. I think I'd move to South America first.

Because big brother will take good care of us and make sure we get a ration of government cheese every week.

I know the big "O" won't get my vote. Because I would like to have a little more than "0" dollars in my pocket after I pay my taxes.

No problem guys. I hear they're coming out with the Obama standard, which is a stopper gun with a 12 inch string and an Obama magnum which has twice the range with a 24 inch string on the cork. Gee I wish this was funny but I fear it may not be.

The only way Obama or anyone else could disarm the populus is if we allow it to happen.
I have seen the shows on TV where Canadians are standing in line to turn in their guns to be destroyed. Is that who we are??
I don't think so... I would never willingly give up my firearms and I would hope none of you would either.
Brave men fought and died for the rights we have...
A piece of paper signed by some liberal gun hater can't change that.
If we need to stand and defend our rights... SO BE IT!!
I took an oath as many of you did...
To defend against enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.
Anyone who would try to take away OUR RIGHTS and disarm us should be seen as the enemy and defended against as such.

Mitch and Spanky, I took the same oath and I still live by it. I've got several diseases among them are Handiholicitis and Charletonhestonitis. They'd better send more than a few for my guns,.....if they can find police or soldiers willing to do the job. I think our men in uniform would balk at that idea........I hope. I'd hate to have to kill American kids to try to preserve a basic American right and liberty.

I think he will do it like Bill Clinton. Just start limiting what you can buy little by little. He will start with the assault ban. Back to the 10 rd mags for handguns etc. then keep adding more that you cannot get. Later he will ban parts and springs etc so you have a nightmare trying to keep everything in shooting condition.

Guy on another forum voted twice. He went in to vote and they said he voted absentee. He protested and they had to get the state election official on the line to let hime vote. They were supposed to destroy the absentee ballot. It was in Pennsylvania I think. Hopefully all this fraud stuff will turn the undecideds off to O and they will vote McCain.

Matter of fact, some of you are starting to sound just like the queen democrat herself, Barbra Streisand. Everytime a Republican wins the White House she threatens to leave the country. She never left and neither will any of you if Obama wins.

The reality is, tomorrow, the sun will come up, and we'll all go on with our lives. If changes are made, we'll deal with them and try to elect people of our choosing next time.

Its Odd that the media says Obama is leading in the polls everywhere you look... Out of everyone I know I only know of one person that is voting for Obama... After looking at this post it doesn't look like Obama has many friends here either.... Whats the deal??? I hate left winged liberal tree hugging anti-gun welfare giving socialist just so you know....Did I leave anything out???

I voted an hour ago. No line just walked in and voted. Took all of ten minutes. I sure wish i knew who all the local poeple on the ballot were. Thats the ones that really count to start with.

don't know where you saw canadians standing in line to give up guns. maybe some gang kids who stole them anyway. people who don't want the trouble to register up here either don't bother or they sell them to a neighbour.

I voted about 7:00 AM. I stood in line for about 15 minutes, then realized I was in the wrong line.

Our precinct is split between Butler 1 and Butler 2. There was no one in the other line - the one I should have been in. I walked over showed them my ID and signed on the dotted line and voted. Should have been 5 minutes - took about 20 with my wrong decision. My wife voted about 5:15 PM and she got right in too. I warned her about which line to get into. Not to worry, she voted the right way. They told her that there are only 400 registered voters in our part of the precinct and that 300 had cast votes and the poles do not close until 6:00 PM here. 75%+ turn out.

If Obama and his cronies take control, they will not make an out right grab of our guns, it will be done little by little so no one notices that much. One city here then another then a state here then another until we will not be able to shoot the guns we have. They will let you keep them for a while, you just will not be able to buy parts, ammo or reloading supplies in the beginning. Buying one will get to be almost impossible. Gun sales in our area are way up 300% over a year ago in anticipation of the up coming doom. It will happen over an extended period of time; little by little...those sneaky bastards. I do not want to even mention what the economy will do. Take from the people who have something and give it to the people that do not have any thing so we are all alike. Sounds like socialism to me. What will be the incentive to earn money the old fashion way; hard work. Everyone has equal opportunity, but some do not want to earn it, they want it handed to them.

I voted last week.

The attack on the Second Amendment will be slow but deliberate. The first focus is to spread your hard earned dollars with the ones that don't work. I saw a clip of a young black woman at an Obama rally. She was just gushing about how with an Obama win she was no longer going to have to worry about how to keep her house or buy gas for her car. It was all going to be taken care of with Mr. Obama's grand plan. That is exactly the mentality that will finish off this country unless we stand up for the greater good.

I also saw reports of Black Panthers "patroling" polling places in Philly. One of them had a night stick and was asked to leave by the cops. The other got very defensive when asked by the reporter what his purpose was. To me this is another sign of what could be coming down the pike with an Obama win. I fear a lot of these fringe groups would take on the mentality that hey we have a black president so we can do whatever we want.

I sure hope McCain/Palin pull off the upset.

During the 2000 presidential campains when Gore was talking about gun control.
The NRA funded a special showing how other countries were giving up their guns for destruction.
The show was hosted by the late Charleton Heston.
